AayurMed is the largest source of Natural and Certified Organic Indian herbs, spices, food, fruits, vegetables, extracts, oils, teas and other botanical products. The organic products are certified as ''100% Organic'' by OneCert, under NOP of USDA, European Commission Regulation (EEC) 834/2007 and Regulation (EC) 1235/2008 and NPOP of India.

We offer nearly 300 organic and 500 natural botanicals. These are sourced from:

Our Quality Commitment

 

Apart from following Organic and GAP standards in cultivation, AayurMed''s own plants as well as those of its associates, comply with GMP standards. All products shipped by AayurMed meet WHO standards for heavy metals, microbiology and pesticide residue. Most of the botanicals supplied by AayurMed are within one year of harvesting and have a residual shelf life of at least one year.

All of AayurMed''s own or contracted farms conserve all natural resources and ecological diversity, use mixed cultivation patterns and follow organic standards. We attempt to be carbon neutral by following many small steps like:

• Using biomass for our fuel needs
• Planting hedges of Jatropha, which yields bio-diesel
• Using recycled packaging material and paper where possible
• Using recycled material for construction of all structures where possible
• Using natural ventilation

• All our farms provide employment to local tribes
• We work with poor marginal farmers to provide them more remunerative options
• We promote tribal art by providing it a marketing platform
• Our farm house Harit Vigyan Ashram, is a free vocational training school where nearly 200 tribal children in the age group of 13-15 years are provided training in rural technologies to equip them with vocational skills
• We organise medical camps & offer free medical aid to poor and needy people in the vicinity of our farms

Spreading awareness

 

The main organic farm of AayurMed also houses ''CampHarit'' - an Ecorganic Farm Retreat & Camp, where people from cities, especially children can experience a uniquely different rural life at an organic farm, dirty their hands and participate in farm activities, appreciate local traditions like tribal art, music, dance etc., enjoy bullock cart rides, tractor rides, adventure sports, trekking, nature walks and more. The objective behind this project is to spread awareness amongst urban people about organic and natural lifestyle and the symbiosis between organic cultivation and environment.

CampHarit Ecorganic Farm Retreat, nestled between a perennial river and reserve forest near Mumbai, offers you a unique break from the urban grind. It provides a taste of rural life at an ecorganic farm. CampHarit is a twelve-month destination and each season brings with it, its unique beauty and charm.

CampHarit offers dormitory accommodation for groups up to 50, family rooms and tents, bottled water and all meals (purely vegetarian and traditional). We do not permit alcohol, tobacco and drugs. Let the peace and serenity of the place intoxicate you. We also discourage non-vegetarian food, carbonated drinks, ice creams etc.

At CampHarit Ecorganic Farm Retreat & Camps, you can:
Learn all about herbs, how to use them, how to grow them in your homes, balconies, terraces, gardens or farms and carry away herbs, seeds and plants with you. There is a garden and display of over 100 medicinal plants with monographs.

Participate in Farm Activities : the venturesome can dirty their hands, dig into soil and participate in the farm activities (farm gear and implements are provided). Try cooking dehati istyle. You can milch a cow, feed her and tend her.

Understand Organic Farming and Vermiculture, what, why and how of them, their benefits on health & environment and how to convert to an organic consumer.

Bring out your Love for Nature, you can join bird-butterfly-insect watch, treks, nature walks in nearby forest and mountains or along the river and play nature games.

Appreciate local traditions and enjoy rural fun like Warli tribal art (try some strokes), music (pool in your skills), dance (try a few steps), traditional pottery, bullock cart rides, tractor rides, games (join in) like gully cricket, kite flying, fishing, camp fires, visit weekly markets, village fairs, dams, rice mills, brick kilns, dairy farms, fish farms, poultry farms, pig farms etc.
